We are pleased to announce the acquisition of the The Kelly of Ladram (previously known as the Reliance II BF800). The Kelly has been converted from a twin-rig trawler to a whelk potter by Parkol Marine, based in Whitby, UK. She will be working alongside Waterdance’s other whelkers, the Berlewen and the Becci of Ladram. and replaces the wooden-hulled Pen Glas SE34. The Kelly of Ladram will work around the British coastline, fishing for the common whelk (Buccinum undatum).
