About
KELLY OF LADRAM
The Kelly of Ladram (previously known as the Reliance II BF800) was acquired in 2020 to replace the wooden-hulled Charisma PW45. The Kelly, previously a twin-rig trawler and then a whelk potter, was converted to a Netter, in April 22, by Parkol Marine, based in Whitby. She now works alongside Waterdance’s five other Netters.
The Kelly of Ladram was built in 2009, to a design created by Ian Paton of S C McAllister. She is equipped with a Mitsubishi S6RT MPTK-S marine diesel engine, a Reintjes 6:1 reduction gearbox and a 1900mm diameter Lips HR nozzle, and has a double-chine hull, transom stern, semi-bulbous bow and soft-nose stem.
